1. How would you describe EAG?

EAG is a company full of great individuals with varying skills and strengths coming together to help oil and gas companies achieve their goals. From Consulting Services to Outsourcing, we are resourceful, knowledgeable, and willing to make things happen.

2. What has been one of your proudest moments working at EAG?

Last year, I played an instrumental part in a project to convert hundreds of new DOIs (divisions of interest). My knowledge of Quorum along with my team member’s SQL skills and quick learning, made for a great combo. We were able to get the data into the system earlier than originally anticipated, reducing the number of prior period adjustments the client would have to make.

3. What advice do you have for prospective candidates that want to join EAG?

Be confident in your skills, but be ready to put in the effort to learn too! The fast pace and variety of projects will expose you to new things, even if you’re just working on an upgraded version of a software that you already know.

4. What’s one thing – either industry-related or not – you learned in the last month?

I enjoy taking cruises and recently watched a documentary about the MSC Seascape. There is always an abundance of food, and I had no idea what happened to all the food waste. It turns out that one of the things they do when there are leftovers is grind them up and release them in certain areas of the ocean.

5. What do you like to do in your free time? Any favorite places you like to visit?

I dance and eat in my free time. My boyfriend and I love trying new food and restaurants. Sometimes I question whether my love of food is setting me back in my dance goals, but I count it as a necessary evil.

6. Tell us something that might surprise us about you.

I enjoy creative activities. I have made three dresses, the first of which I sowed by hand. It was not perfect, but it was cute enough to wear to my friend’s graduation party.

7. How do you balance your career with other priorities?

Scheduling and having time dedicated to specific activities keeps me from becoming too imbalanced. Sometimes a scheduled activity may need to change, but having to reschedule makes it a conscious decision.

8. Who or what inspires you and why?

My desire to help others inspires a lot of the things I do.

9. What is your life motto or favorite quote?

My life motto is “share a smile.” My first-grade teacher, Mrs. Orlando, told us something along the lines of smiles being contagious. Smiling at strangers can brighten their day and bring a smile to their faces too. If I can be a positive part of someone’s day, I am all for it.

10. What’s your superpower?

I am basically a social superhero—I can get a conversation going with almost anyone!
