As a recruiter for EAG, Pam Chavez’s focus is on leading the recruitment efforts and helping to grow EAG’s team of industry experts. She executes strategic candidate outreach initiatives, handles the initial screening, and every aspect of employee onboarding. Pam also partners with hiring managers to determine staffing needs, develops and updates job descriptions and job specifications, and promotes EAG’s reputation as being Great Place to Work Certified.
Pam Chavez is a Human Resources professional who is committed to delivering excellent client and employee experiences. When she joined the EAG team, she improved the recruiting process by conducting thorough interviews using reliable recruiting and selection tools. She effectively evaluates applicants, and acts as the point of contact to build influential candidate relationships.
Pam earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Houston (Go Coogs!) majoring in Psychology and minoring in Business.
Prior to joining the EAG team in 2021, Pam held several HR, customer service, sales, and marketing positions throughout her career. She worked as a Specialist Coordinator where she was responsible for managing a budget of 1.3 million, reviewed and audited expenses, worked with vendors, and more. Additionally, Pam boosted sales by 27%, restructured an HR marketing program to streamline operations, and several accounting functions during her time as a Sales and Marketing Director.
Pam enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters, usually cheering on one of their sporting events. They love to travel as a family and explore new places, cultures and of course, food. She tries to get to the gym as often as possible and loves lifting heavy.
