Kenny Nadler is the Vice President, Accounting (Back-Office Outsourcing) at EAG with 24+ years of experience in oil and gas, primarily in the upstream sector. He is focused on overseeing the accounting operations of EAG and ensuring the highest level of accounting services for EAG’s clients. He is responsible for accounting, financial analysis, reporting, accounting policy, and internal controls both internally and for EAG’s Business Process Outsourcing clients. His team provides outstanding services and expertise in all areas of oil and gas accounting including revenue, joint interest billing, accounts payable and general accounting.
Kenny has gained experience at various upstream oil and gas companies during his career and has focused on numerous areas of accounting and finance including financial reporting, system implementations for both public and private equity backed companies, as well as merger and acquisition activities. Kenny is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), holds a Master of Business Administration degree, and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting degree from Southeastern Louisiana University.
Prior to joining EAG at the beginning of his career, Kenny worked at KPMG as an auditor for four years before leaving to join a startup oil and gas company in the New Orleans area. He has been involved in numerous system conversions and upgrades over the years. Most recently, Kenny was the Chief Accounting Officer of Venado Oil and Gas for 10 years, and the Controller of Crescent Energy. During his time as a Controller, he implemented several tax related strategies to reduce the impact of sales and production taxes, as well as leading his teams to reduce the monthly close process to 10 days or less.
Kenny enjoys spending time with his wife Liz and their high school aged son Nathan, as well as friends and family. He also enjoys playing basketball, hunting, traveling, running, reading, and watching football. Being a New Orleans native, he also enjoys attending Mardi Gras for the annual festivities.
