As the Director of People & Program Management, Debra Seale’s focus is on recruiting, retaining top talent, and implementing new programs in support of EAG’s continued growth. Debra is responsible for building and expanding EAG’s Internship Program (EAGership) which provides real-world work experience to college students, supplementing their studies and setting them up for success in the future. Debra also leads several other people-focused initiatives that foster growth and reinforce the EAG culture, including defining and delivering EAG’s Entry Level Hiring Strategy and Development Plans.
Debra Seale joined EAG back in 2014 as a manager on the consulting services team. She led multiple complex initiatives for various clients, which included software evaluation projects, system implementations, business process improvements, system change management, and more. Additionally, Debra was heavily involved in key project activities including data integrity analysis, conversion strategy and management, functional requirements analysis, report and integration design, user training, and communications. Before transitioning to her Human Resources role, Debra co-led the Consulting Services department at EAG. She leverages her consulting skills and industry knowledge to successfully build new HR programs for EAG.
Debra Seale has 17+ years of oil and gas experience across the upstream, downstream, retail, and marketing segments of the industry. She started her oil and gas consulting career in 2005 with a company called Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC), and then spent five years at Accenture in their Resources Management consulting practice. Prior to joining EAG, Debra worked for Tesoro (now part of Marathon) as a project manager in the IT department.
Debra enjoys travelling to the mountains with her family and loves to ski and hike. She often teaches her children that, “there is no such thing as bad weather, just bad clothing!” Debra also enjoys watching sports and supporting the Houston teams and the Aggies.
