E.A.G. Business Holdings Incorporated (“EAG”) Engages Deloitte & Touche LLP to perform SOC 1 Examination Services.

Deloitte & Touche LLP (“Deloitte”) has been selected as EAG’s preferred firm for SOC 1 examination services. 

Houston, Texas – April 25, 2022: E.A.G. Business Holdings, Incorporated (“EAG”), a privately held oil and gas consulting and outsourcing organization, announced that they have engaged Deloitte & Touche LLP (“Deloitte”) to perform Service Organization Control (“SOC”) 1 Type 2 examination services.  

Established by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), a SOC 1 is an examination and attestation over the controls at a service organization relevant to user entities’ internal control over financial reporting.  

EAG provides consulting, back-office outsourcing, and IT outsourcing services exclusively to the upstream and midstream oil and gas industry. Recent growth has included the addition of several public clients to EAG’s outsourcing customer base.  To provide clients with timely and quality annual SOC reports, EAG has engaged Deloitte, who is a global professional services firm.  

Deloitte will conduct a Type 2 examination and test the operating effectiveness of certain EAG controls relevant to user organizations’ financial reporting in accordance with the AICPA’s Statement on Standards for Attestation Engagements No. 18, Attestation Standards: Clarification and Recodification (“SSAE 18”).
